El cementerio municipal de Soacha : patrimonio funerario y reflejo del mundo de los vivos

Abstract

Spa: Los cementerios católicos forman una parte muy importante de la historia de las ciudades en América y en especial de Colombia, su estudio abordado desde diferentes áreas del conocimiento permite conocer aspectos socioculturales únicos o particulares desarrollados en los territorios y las poblaciones. Desde una perspectiva patrimonial, estos lugares estos lugares pueden ser valorado como lugares de la memoria, así como desde el punto de vista estético, idiosincrático, arquitectónico entre otros. El cementerio municipal de Soacha no es la excepción, por el contrario, se caracteriza por conservar en su interior miles de monumentos funerarios que dan cuenta de las trayectorias históricas que ha experimentado el camposanto y el municipio y sus habitantes desde 1880 hasta la actualidad. La necrópolis es analizada como un reflejo del mundo de los vivos, escenario de tensiones a lo largo de toda la historia, tensiones que activan el lugar y lo obligan a adaptar frente a nuevas situaciones, personas y tecnologías. Como muchos sitios patrimoniales, enfrenta problemáticas que lo ponen en riesgo, pero que a la vez suponen un punto de partida para la implementación de nuevas transformaciones.

Eng:Catholic cemeteries form a very important part of the history of cities in America and especially in Colombia, their study approached from different areas of knowledge allows knowing unique or particular sociocultural aspects developed in the territories and populations. From a heritage perspective, these places can be valued as places of memory, as well as from an aesthetic, idiosyncratic, architectural point of view, among others. The municipal cemetery of Soacha is no exception; on the contrary, it is characterized by the preservation of thousands of funerary monuments inside it that account for the historical trajectories that the cemetery and the municipality and its inhabitants have experienced from 1880 to the present. The necropolis is analyzed as a reflection of the world of the living, a scene of tensions throughout history, tensions that activate the place and force it to adapt to new situations, people and technologies. Like many heritage sites, it faces problems that put it at risk, but that at the same time represent a starting point for the implementation of new transformations.
