Abstract
Eng: This research was developed in order to analyze the learnings that reach students, when they study rigid movements from their semiotic records. This was attended by a math teacher and 5th grade students from the Florida Departmental Educational Institution, Jhon F. Kennedy headquarters, in the municipality of Anolaima Cundinamarca. The fieldwork was structured in two moments: one of teacher disciplinary training and one where a structured didactic sequence was
worked on in four moments: exploration, structuring, transfer and closure. It defined different strategies for using new concepts in context following the structure of the Singapore method.
The methodology used had a qualitative approach and the type of research implemented was the action research, configured around two cycles each with four phases or stages: plan, act, observe and reflect. The timing of observation, collection and analysis of data in a systematic and rigorous manner is what gives the research range (Latorre, 2003 p.21). Semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, class observation guides, field journals and a closed multiple selection test were
used in information collection techniques. The theoretical sustentum is framed in Duval's Theory of Semiotic Representation Records (1999) cited by Escobar (2016), who states that "the identification of systems for the representation of mathematical objects is essential so that the process of teaching - learning can take place" (p. 22). On the other hand, the same author reiterates that "to learn a mathematical concept student must use multiple representation records and develop skills to switch from one record to another".
On the other hand, taking into account the health emergency currently in the country due to covid 19, intervention activities were carried out through remote education using videoconferencing rooms and using concrete material (context objects, geoplane) and recreational activities such as "the translation game".
Among the outstanding conclusions of the work, it can be mentioned that the teacher
recognizes the importance of implementing, in his classroom practices, the approach of the different mathematical objects from his different semiotic records
