Abstract
Eng: The purpose of this monograph is to analyze the learning of a group of seventh grade students, of the Institución Educativa la Inmaculada, located in the Municipality of OrocuéCasanare in the area of Mathematics, With the subject related to fractions, the study begins by applying an exam, where it is possible to show some difficulties in the understanding and development of the part-whole fraction, development of addition and subtraction operations. it gives way to think, create and develop a series of didactic guides based on the Theory of Records of Semiotic Representation (TRRS) of Raymond Duval.
On the other hand, the idea of being able to arrive in a different way due to Covid-19 is
sought, which forced the world population to maintain mandatory isolation, leading the
educational community to make use of guides as the only means of communication with
students. Students, due to the geographic location and socio-economic level of the institution,
seek to pass the different obstacles encountered in the initial exam. The research has a qualitative approach in order to be able to explain the development of the different activities proposed to the students, the research methodology used is action research, everything is developed through the observation, planning, action and analysis phases.
With the development of the research it was possible to show that the students
managed to make better use of the representation of the fraction, appropriated and
remembered concepts that they had forgotten, created didactic material following a detailed procedure for completion and use for their learning, they shared as a family in a safe way, a different way of reaching students was developed and they tried to make them see mathematics from another perspective.
