| dc.description | This paper aims to make a geographic approximation to the understanding ofthe feminicide phenomenon in Boyacá, Colombia, based on the events that took place in this department between 2017 and 2021. Therefore, a documentary review was made to know the context of feminicides in Colombia, especially in the Boyacá department. Moreover, anin-depth interview was conducted to collect the life story of a woman inhabitant of the region who is a mother head of household and suffered the feminicide of her underage daughter in2017. Subsequently, the secondary information was triangulated with the testimony of the interviewee to identify patterns in this conduct. The results suggest that, even though thefeminicide rates in the department are low in comparison to other departments, it is necessary to attend to and prevent other types of violence urgently, such as physical or sexual, since they can trigger this type of murders and have been increasing in the region during the last years. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo en este artículo es realizar una aproximación geográfica a la comprensión del fenómeno del feminicidio en Boyacá, Colombia, a partir de los hechos ocurridos en este departamento, entre 2017 y 2021. Para ello, se realizó una revisión documental para conocer el estado de la cuestión del feminicidio en Colombia, particularmente en el departamento de Boyacá. Así mismo, utilizando como técnica la entrevista a profundidad, se recogió la historia de vida de una mujer habitante de la región, madre cabeza de hogar, quien padeció el feminicidio de su hija menor de edad en el año 2017. Posteriormente, se trianguló la información secundaria con el testimonio de la entrevistada, para identificar patrones en esta conducta. Se encontró que, a pesar de que las cifras de feminicidios en el departamento son bajas en comparación con otros departamentos del país, se deben atender y prevenir con urgencia otro tipo de violencias como la física o la sexual que potencialmente desencadenan este tipo de asesinatos y que han venido aumentando en la región en los últimos años. | es-ES |
| dc.description | O objetivo neste artigo é realizar uma análise geográfica dos feminicídios ocorridos no departamento de Boyacá, Colômbia, entre 2017 e 2021, a partir de uma história de vida de uma mulher habitante da região. Se llevó a cabo una entrevista a profundidad a una madre cabeza de hogar quien padeció el feminicidio de su hija menor de edad. Se realizou uma búsqueda bibliográfica para o conhecimento do estado feminino na Colômbia, particularmente no departamento de Boyacá, o que permitiu, posteriormente, triangular a informação com o testemunho da entrevista e identificar os patronos nesta conduta. Se encont, a partir das cifras de idioma do departamento no departamento de filhos bajas em comparação com o ben atender a urgência ou as violações de violência e o tipo de prevenção sexual, como desencadenan este tipo de engano aumentando a região nos últimos anos. | pt-BR |
